■ Major Bug Fixes

 

- Stiffness resistance will now be applied when some heroes use certain skills while moving.

  > Please refer to each hero’s update details for relevant update information.

- Fixed the issue where the Fairy of Light dropped Tokens continuously when it activated the Relic of Time.

- Fixed the issue where players still got promoted even after leaving in the middle of the battle.

- Fixed the issue where AI players did not die even though they stayed outside the Dark Fog.

- Fixed the issue where the result window would display the other teams' Damage Taken as 0 if a team got defeated early.

 

 

■ Hero

 

| Common

- Fixed the issue where the icons of nearby enemies would become invisible for a short period of time when Increase Vision Range buffs such as Beacon of Light and Aal’s Eye dissappeared

 

 

 

| Shield Charge (Q)

- Black Spirit Skill : Fixed the issue where his weapon temporarily became invisible after using the skills Electrocute and Enchantment.

 

 

 

| Fallen Flower (RMB)

- Increased the use of stamina by 15%.

 

| Clairvoyance (Q)

- Reduced the HP recovery from 800 to 600.


[Dev’s notes]

 

As Yeonhwa moves quickly and recovers her HP with Clairvoyance which enables her to engage in battles longer than others, we decided to cut down on her outstanding abilities.

 

 

 

| Dark Mark (Q)

- Sprint will not be interrupted now when she use the skill while sprinting.

- Changed the cooldown to start earlier.

- Fixed the issue where she would make an abnormal motion when she used the skill while moving with not enough Stamina.

- Fixed the issue where the skill would be canceled by a basic attack or roll when the skill was used while moving.

- Fixed the issue where stiffness resistance would not be applied when the skill was used while moving.


[Dev’s notes]

 

Fighting against her had been difficult as she could swiftly cancel her movement in the midst of using skills with another skill and cast Dark Mark again right after. This week’s update put a little brake on it, where the cooldown would be reduced faster when casting skills.

 

| Shadow Explosion (E)

- She will now cast the skill in the direction the camera is facing when using the skill while moving.


[Dev’s notes]

 

We tried to improve the control through allowing skills to be used while moving, but there were numerous opinions that Shadow Explosion of Ahon Kirus rather hampers her capabilities as the direction it is cast does not match the camera’s viewpoint. Also, as there were other comments that it is difficult for opponent players to respond to the skill, we have made fixes so that the skill can no longer be used while moving and is cast in the direction of the camera’s viewpoint.

| Sun of Destruction (R)

- Changed that the skill cannot be canceled with Dark Mark (Q) when it is being used while moving.

 

 

 

| Unleashed Beast (RMB)

- Black Spirit Skill : Fixed the issue where his weapon temporarily became invisible after using the skills Electrocute and Enchantment.

 

 

 

- Corrected the skill description where the damage increase applied during concealment incorrectly wrote 30%.

> Please note that the actual increase buff of 15% had been applied correctly in battles.

 

| Shadow Strike (R)

- Changed the max number of hits and the max damage as below

> Max number of hits: (Before) 4 hits → (Now) 3 hits

> Max damage: (Before) 1,600 → (Now) 1200


[Dev’s notes]

 

Haru’s Shadow Strike does not deal much damage when used on a flat ground as it makes multiple hits while dashing forward. However, it could inflict a great amount of damage at once when used in particular environments such as above walls. While we intended the skill to deal explosive damage when used in such occassions, it was wrong for all the strikes to succeed even “on the hills.” So, we touched on this part and now Haru will not be able to make the hits of Shadow Strike entirely successful on slope-like terrains. Also, for unusual environments like walls, we felt the need to balance the amount of damage, and therefore decreased the max number of hits, consequently lowering the max damage.

 

 

 

- Improved so that if she used the skill while sprinting, sprint is not interrupted.

- Changed so that Stamina is consumed if she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where the stiffness resistance was not applied if she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where the skill would be canceled by a basic attack or roll if she used the skill while moving.

- Changed so that when she is sitting or crouching, no skill except Thunder Viper (E) can be used while moving.

 

| Seed of Ice (Q)

- She can now rapidly use other skills after using Seed of Ice on the spot.

 

| Thunder Viper (E)

- Fixed the issue where her Stamina would slightly recover in the middle of the skill.

- Changed the number of hits in the skill description to match the actual number of hits.

- Changed so that the skill can be used while moving in the sitting or crouching mode.

- Changed so that she can move diagonally while using the skill.

 

 

 

- Fixed the issue where she could not move if she used Thunderbolt Arrow (RMB) or Shower of Arrows (R) right after making basic attacks.

- Fixed the issue where she could not move if she used Thunderbolt Arrow (RMB) or Shower of Arrows (R) right after rolling.

- Fixed the issue where she could cancel “rolling” with other skills.

 

| Thunderbold Arrows (RMB)

- Fixed the issue where she would keep charging when she lacks Stamina.

- Fixed the issue where the camrera-shake effect would not be applied with each successful strike.

 

| Arrow Storm (E)

- Fixed the issue where she could not move if she used Thunderbolt Arrow (RMB) or Shower of Arrows (R) right after using this skill

- Fixed the issue where the animation effects of more arrows would be displayed if she used Twin Fairy Arrow (Q) right after using this skill


[Dev’s notes]

 

We fixed the bugs related to the use of skills while moving. We especially fixed the issue where the character would freeze right after making combo attacks. We hope that this update helps players position themselves more safely in battles.

 

 

 

- Changed so that when she switched to the Courage Stance, the buff message that says all allies’ Extra AP against Monsters will increase does not appear.

 

| Switch Stance (RMB)

- Fixed the issue where the animation effect would not be displayed if she rolled (evaded) from the Patience Stance and then switched to the Courage Stance.

 

| Courage Stance – Radiant Pursuit (Q)

- Increased the damage of thrust attack by 100% (approx. 30% increase of max damage).

 

| Patience Stance – Breath of Elion (E)

- Stamina will now be consumed if she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where defense effect would be applied when she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where the stiffness resistance would not be applied when she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where a basic attack or roll would cancel the skill when she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where she would make an abnormal move of jumping at the same time when she used the skill while sprinting.

- Changed so that she cannot use the skill while moving if she is sitting or crouching.

 

 

 

- Black Spirit Skill : Fixed the issue where her weapon temporarily became invisible after using the skills Electrocute and Enchantment.

- Fixed the issue where, when she used the skill while sprinting, she would make an abnormal move of jumping at the same time.

- Changed so that if she attacked with a skill while sprinting, she would attack with a charging attack.

- Changed so that she cannot use the skill while moving if she is sitting or crouching.

 

| Heilang (RMB)

- Changed so that Stamina would be consumed if she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the isue where Stamina would be recovered if she used the skill while sprinting.

- Fixed the issue where stiffness resistance would not be applied when she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where a basic attack or roll would cancel the skill when she used the skill while moving.

 

| Heilang’s Territory (R)

- Stamina will now be consumed if she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the isue where Stamina would be recovered if she used the skill while sprinting.

| Thunder Strike (Q)

- Fixed the issue where, when she used the skill while sprinting, she would make an abnormal move of jumping at the same time.

- Fixed the issue where stiffness resistance would not be applied when she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where a basic attack or roll would cancel the skill when she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where the skill would be canceled with a basic attack or roll and she would make an abnormal move when she used the skill while moving in the sitting or crouching mode.

- Fixed the issue where she would make an abnormal move while making a lateral attack with the skill.

 

| Shield of Revenge (RMB)

- Improved so that she recovers Stamina from successfully moving or defending while using the skill.

 

| Avalanche (R)

- Reduced the cooldown by 5 sec.

[Dev’s notes]

 

Igrid right now is on the weaker side of all Brawler type heroes. In fact, her defense is not as strong as that of Jordine, nor her attacks give damage as high as what Goyen or Shultz can do. Instead, her advantage lies in the fact that she has more CCs than the other heroes to overpower her opponents. Especially with the Avalanche, Igrid can grab her opponent and move at the same time. This skill is highly compatible with team fights whereas she can protect her allies and position the opponent exactly the way she wants, creating a favorable situation for her team. However, the skill is an ultimate skill with a long cooldown, making it a one-time use during team fights. Therefore, we have significantly reduced the cooldown so that she could destroy the opponents once more in longer team fights.

 

 

 

- Improved so that its attack after jump will change its direction to where the camera faces.

- Decreased the changeable angle of direction by 16.7% for when it makes a turn as it quickly moves after mounting on a Laytenn.

- Improved the issue where it other players saw Wu-Ju as if it was running ackwards when Wu-Ju rode on a Laytenn and made a turn while moving quickly.

 

 

 

| Contaminated Sacrifice (E)

- Added a message of fixed damage to appear when characters are striken by Skeleton Wolves.

- Changed so that she consumes Stamina when using the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where, when she used the skill while sprinting, she would make an abnormal move of jumping at the same time.

- Fixed the issue where stiffness resistance would not be applied when she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where a basic attack or roll would cancel the skill when she used the skill while moving.

- Fixed the issue where she would make an abnormal move when using the skill while moving and making basic attacks.

- Changed so that she cannot use the skill while moving if she is sitting or crouching.

 

 

 

| Thorns of Corruption (RMB)

- Fixed the issue where, if she casted the skill after the game start but before being turned into the black Spirit, the skill would be effective until she completely flew away.

 

 

■ Content

 

- Changed so that teams that left the battle in the middle of the match would have their points deducted just as that of the lowest-ranked team.

- Increased the bounty for defeating heroes with killstreaks as below.

The point of the bounty system is to give opportunities to relatively weaker teams to reverse the tide through battles. However, practically speaking, it is not easy to defeat players of the stronger teams, when there is a big gap of growth. Therefore, we improved the system so that players can obtain more tokens than before when defeating those will less killstreaks.

| Relic of Time

- Increased the number of Tokens obtainable from the Relic of Time or from Bonus Tokens as below:

| Shop

- Chaged the UI of the in-game shop.

- Added “Hide Category” button to the in-game shop.

- Increased the HP and DP buffs of below items by app. 25% and app. 12.5% respectively.

- Changed the effect of Great Warrior’s Hammer as below.

[Dev’s notes]

 

In the last update, we generally decreased the AP and DP buffs of items by 33.3%. When we tested its result and measured the actual damage, we noticed a relative increase in the efficiency of offensive items. Therefore, we slightly increased the efficiency of defensive items with DP and HP buffs this time to balance out the offensive items. Plus, we lowered the prices of some items that are known to be overpriced by 100 tokens.

 
 

■ Tutorial

 

- Added a “Light of Ascension” tutorial.

- Added mileposts that indicate directions to the control tutorial.

- Improved the order of the control tutorial and clarified the completion requirement.

- Fixed the issue where, when Shultz made his appearance in the control tutorial, the sound occasionally went on and off.

- Added and improved the cameraworks of tutorials.

 
 

■ AI Player

 

- Improved so that when an Herawen AI Player used the Light of Sylvia (RMB), all her allies would receive the AP buff of AP +50 against monsters for 5 sec.

- Improved so that ally AI players would respond to pings as below:

> Movement ping : AI players will move to the spot marked with the ping.

> Combat ping : AI players will move to the spot marked with the ping and attack nearby enemies.
> Help ping : AI players will move close to the player and attack nearby enemies.
> Danger ping : AI players will move close to the player and follow the player.

- Improved so that if the player got on a Jump Gate, nearby AI players will follow them.

- Fixed the issue where an AI player would not initiate attacks to a monster or an objective.


[Dev’s notes]

 

Currently there are issues where players are reluctantly teamed with AI players, since matching with other players did not go smoothly for various reasons. In this case, the fact that AI players cannot play up to the human sensitivity works a great stress to some users. To relieve such stress, we made improvements to give the players more control of their AI allies by sending pings.

 

 

■ Monsters

 

- We have changed the bonus Tokens obtainable by defeating Shadow Trolls, Shadow Knights Master, Shadow Shaman, and Stoneback Crabs as below:

  > (Before) : Drop 5 Low-level Tokens (10 Tokens) that last for 5 sec → (Now) : Drop 4 Low-level Tokens (20 Tokens) that last for 5.5 sec

- Fixed so that the monsters of the Troll band take different positions and directions while waiting.


[Dev's notes]

 

With the last update, the importance of the above monsters increased as the number of Tokens dropped by general monsters decreased. However, there was not enough time to pick up the Bonus tokens, nor were they greatly valued. Therefore, we came to a conclusion that the current system is unnecessarily bothersome, and increased the number of Tokens obtainable from Bonus Tokens and made it easier to pick them up.

 
 

■ Sound

 

- Improved so that the heroes’ voices will be heard more clearly in disorderly battles.

 

 

■ UI

 

- Changed the design of the Black Spirit Skill selection window. You can now see all of the selectable Black Spirit Skills at once without having to scroll down.

- Changed the UI design of Shop and added a feature where you can hide certain categories.

- Changed the message that pops up when you sell or rebuy shop items in the Tutorial.

- Improved so that you can see skin images by placing the mouse cursor on top of the skin items in Shop Storage or Battle Pass.

- Changed to have a notification message pop up when you use a Red Dragon’s Offering.

  > Message : "A deep cry of the Red Dragon is echoing in the air.”

 

 

■ Other Fixes and Improvements

 

- Fixed the issue where the Steam Gcoin payment window did not pop up in certain situations.
