■ Hero

| Shield of Heidel (RMB)

- Fixed an issue where continuing to hold up the shield would make you go into guard stance again and cause the skill to go into cooldown.

- Fixed an issue where using Shield Charge (Q) while holding up the shield would cause the UI for holding down a key to not disappear immediately.

- Applied a color to highlight the controls for the skill.

| Spear of Serendia (RMB)

- Decreased Spear of Serendia’s attack range from 300 to 200.

| Formation Break (R)

- Decreased Formation Break’s attack range from 500 to 350.

[Dev Note]

Jordine’s combo of using Formation Break immediately after Spear of Serendia was quite difficult for opponents to play around. This led us to change Spear of Serendia by decreasing its attack range to give players the possibility to evade it with basic movements.

As for Formation Break, its long attack range was designed to allow Jordine to serve as a Brawler type hero with the ability to CC. However, we saw that the skill was too powerful and effective when Jordine is played aggressively. So, we’ve decreased Formation Break’s attack range so that Jordine players will now have to better predict their opponents movements to successfully land it.

| Head Shot (E)

- Increased the skill’s range from 4500 to 5000.

- Fixed an issue where the skill’s range was incorrectly stated as 4000 in skill description.

| Sun of Destruction (R)

- Applied a color to highlight the damage values for each level of charge in the skill description

- Fixed an issue where you could not launch the skill’s attack by re-entering the skill command while charging.

- Fixed the skill description to match the actual skill range.

  > (Before) 3000 → (Now) 5000

- Changed his double jump so that it would no longer recover his stamina.

- Decreased the transition time from his jump attack to another action by approximately 0.64 sec.

- Decreased the transition time from his basic lateral attacks to another action by approximately 0.2 sec.

- Fixed an issue where the action to go up on a terrain would not immediately occur when you inputted W + Space in front of it

| Gate Breaker (Q)

- Improved Gate Breaker to allow you to input Q or LMB while charging to use a shoulder strike attack.

  > Before, you would only do a shoulder strike attack if you input Q.

[Dev Note]

Today’s hero-related patches are mostly related to quality-of-life improvements. In particular, we tried to improve transition times between basic attacks and other motions, so they would no longer make heroes appear like they went stiff. With this patch, we hope that our players will really feel the improvements to controlling their heroes in the transitions between skill combos and movements.

| Heart Stab (Q)

- Removed the skill’s Bleeding effect.

- Fixed an issue where using the skill while under stealth would cause the damage not to be inflicted

| Ancient Dragon’s Breath (RMB)

- Increased the skill’s cooldown from 8 sec to 10 sec.

- Increased the skill’s casting time by approximately 11%.

| Seed of Ice (Q)

- Fixed an issue where using Ancient Dragon’s Breath, Light of Sylvia, or Kamasylve Tree while Seed of Ice was activating would cause Seed of Ice not to activate and make it go into cooldown.

| Thunder Viper (E)

- Fixed an issue where you would temporarily stop moving if you used Thunder Viper while at low stamina.

> If you use Thunder Viper with low stamina, you will immediately cast lightening.

- Fixed the skill description to match the actual number of hits.

| Kamasylve Tree (R)

- Added a visual effect for bringing forth the Kamasylve Tree.

- Increased her basic attack’s range from 4500 to 5000.

- The transition times to other actions (move/roll) after a basic attack have changed as follows:

  > After the 1st basic attack (moving forward while lifting up the sword): Decreased by 0.64 seconds

  > After the 2nd basic attack (swinging the sword to the right): Decreased by 0.83 seconds

  > After the 3rd basic attack (swinging the sword to the left): Decreased by 1 second

- Decreased the transition time to other actions after a lateral attack by approximately 0.167 seconds.

  > Changed the initial motion for sprinting to consume stamina.

- Fixed an issue where HP would not recover when using a basic attack while crouching or lying down.

| Iron Pulverizer (RMB)

- Changed the skill description from “make an additional strike to knock the opponent down” to “knock up the opponent.”

- Increased the amount of stamina that is recovered for successful hits from 500 to 1000.

| Gatekeeper (RMB)

- Improved the description on damage in the skill description as follows:

  > For each level of charge, the amount of damage will go up by 50%, and the travel distance also increases. The level of charge can go up to 5.

  > To improve the wording, we removed the amount of damage for each level of charge in the skill description.

- Changed the HP debuff description in the skill description as follows:

  > (Before) -400~1000 → (Now) -400 ~ -1000

| Corpse Cut (Q)

- Increase the amount of HP that is recovered when the skill hits successfully from 600 to 1200.

- Increased the damage of Corpse Cut from 370 to 430.

| Blood Flurry (R)

- Increased the amount of HP that is recovered when the skill hits successfully from 127 to 185.

[Dev Note]

There’s currently a lot things (special attacks of monsters, Blackstar Meteorites, etc.) that need to be evaded in the game besides just hero attacks. Unlike other heroes who could quickly evade by moving or rolling after their basic movements, Goyen had a harder time due to his slower transitions to other actions. So, we’ve decreased his transition time to other actions after basic attacks, and we greatly increased the amount of HP recovered by successfully landing certain skills to serve as a clear edge versus the recently added “Bleeding” debuff.

- Fixed an issue where switching stances and using another skill at the same time after a basic attack caused the skill you used before the stance switch to be activated.

| Shield of Fortitude (RMB)

- Changed Shield of Fortitude to apply the HP recovery buff to your allies as well.

- Fixed an issue where the skill’s actual area of effect did not match its visual effect.

- Changed the DP buff’s area of effect from 1500 to 1000.

| Winter Petal (Q)

- Added information about Blowback and Guard Break to the skill description.

- Changed the CC described in the skill description to match the actual effect.

  > The rock will appear approximately 0.76 sec after the attack range is shown.

- Fixed an issue where the initial motion of sprinting would recover your stamina.

  > Changed the initial motion for sprinting to consume stamina.

- Decreased the transition time to other actions after a sprint jump attack by approximately 0.2 seconds.

- Applied a highlight color to all skill descriptions.

| Sixth Blade: Free-Form (RMB)

- Removed the skill’s bleeding effect.

- Change the skill to apply a knockback effect for 0.4 sec on its last hit.

| Third Blade: Searing Flash (RMB)

- Fixed an issue where the cooldown reduction would not be applied if you successfully lanwd another skill.

| First Blade: Rushing Gale(Q)

- Changed the value of the travel distance in the skill description to match the actual travel distance.

- Fixed an issue where the initial motion of sprinting would recover your stamina.

> Changed the initial motion for sprinting to consume stamina.

- Reduced the transition time to another action after a sprint jump attack by approximately 0.2 seconds.

| Heilang (RMB)

- Removed the Bleeding effect from Heilang’s basic attacks.

- Heilang’s Roar: Changed the buff effect that was applied during combat as follows:

Fixed an issue where the Knockdown effect in skill description would appear twice.

| Crow: Shoo! (E)

Fixed the issue where skill description would include a phrase on knockdown effect.

| Heilang’s Territory (R)
Fixed an issue where the skill’s visual effect would get stuck in the terrain and not be visible or float in the air.

- Fixed an issue where the attack sound would not be audible when you used a basic attack while running.

| Older Brother! (RMB)

- Fixed an issue where the hungry Black Spirit that was summoned from the skill would be active for more than 10 seconds.

- Increased the skill’s cooldown from 10 seconds to 12 seconds.

| Take Off! (RMB)

- Improved the skill to now launch you upward in a curved trajectory rather than a flat one.

> If you press LMB or RMB while flying, you will immediately drop down and explode.

> The longer you hold RMB to charge more energy, the greater number of times you will bounce back from the ground.

- Fixed an issue where you could cast the skill by pressing RMB while moving forward.

| Found You!(E)

- Improved the skill to no longer cause your ally to display an animation that they were hit by the skill if you land on them.

| Laytenn (R)

- Improved the skill to no longer cause your ally to display an animation that they were hit by the Laytenn laser attack.

[Dev Note]

Since the trajectory of the skill ‘Take Off!’ used to be linear, it made the skill harder to use on uneven terrain. Plus, the flight speed made it inconvenient for both the caster and player hit by the skill. So, we’ve changed the skill to make Wu-Ju be launched in a curved trajectory with a bounce. We hope players who use this skill will enjoy the increased control, and for those who are attacked by the skill, they should now be able to see se approaching Wu-Ju and have an easier time evading.

- Decreased the transition time to other actions (move/roll) after a sprint dash attack while having loaded the exploding bullets by approximately 0.36 seconds.

| Charged Shot (Q)

  > Increased the transition time to move/roll by approximately 0.54 sec.

- Improved all skill descriptions.

- Improved the motion of being hit by basic attacks to match their direction.

- Improved the unnatural visual effect in which she disappears after using Harbinger’s Scythe or Shadow Bullet.

| Shadow Bullet (RMB)

- Added a phrase that says ‘if used while sprinting, stealth mode will be applied’ in the skill description.

- Fixed an issue where you could not change directions if you used the skill after a sprint attack.

| Shadow of Quturan (Q)

- Added the omitted Super Armor effect to the skill description.

| Contaminated Sacrifice (E)

- Changed the skill to no longer be activated while using a jump attack.

- Fixed an issue where using Contaminated Sacrifice with 2 powers of Quturan caused the red circle effect around the summoned wolves to not be visible.

- Fixed an issue where the damage dealt by the summon wolves for Contaminated Sacrifice with 3 powers of Quturan was different from what was stated in the skill description.

| Frightening Crow (R)

- Decreased the camera shake effect.

| Thorns of Corruption (RMB)

- Added the omitted description about the Bleeding effect to skill description.

- Added information about the skill commands to the skill description.

- Improved the skill’s actual attack range to match its visual effects.

| Sudden Attack (Q)

- Reduced the transition time to other actions after using Sudden Attack (Q) by approximately 0.21 seconds.

- Added a buff notification message to appear when the skill’s HP recovery buff is in effect.

- Applied a highlight color to the skill description.

- Increased the HP recovery amount for allies from +300 for 1 second to +400 for 1 second.

- Increased the amount of stamina consumed for using a basic attack while sprinting by 36%.

[Dev Note]

In the last patch, we slightly increased the amount of stamina consumed for Durgeff, but she was still too much of a threat by being able to chase enemies while throwing her boomerang. So, we’ve again increased the amount of stamina consumed to limit this attack’s reign of terror.

■ Contents

- Decreased the camera’s maximum field of view by 18.9%. (The perspective of the zoom-in camera is closer than before and expanded.)

[Dev Note]

As those of you who played since the Solo mode would know, we moved the camera back to increase the game’s field of view when we revamped the game with Trio mode. This change greatly helped players take in a lot of information at a glance in large-scale battles or when locating their allies. However, this also made their own hero appear smaller, and made the gameplay look less intense or immersive.

Until now, we were reluctant to zoom in the camera and give up the advantages described above just to increase the immersive-ness of the gameplay experience. When we first designed Trio mode, we believe there must be a “better spot” for camera than where we had it initially. Thus, we slightly adjusted the camera distance to heighten the feel of the action, but not to the point where it will not interfere with your player perspective. This is something that will significantly affect your gameplay experience, so we will continue to keep a close eye on what our players are actually experiencing and try to implement improvements to the game.

| Red Dragon

- Improved the Red Dragon’s Offering so that Red Dragon will come closer to the ground and use its fire breath.

> The damage and attack range remain the same as before.

| Fairy of Light

- Decreased the movement speed of the Fairy of Light by 10%.

| Ancient Relic

- Changed the effect of the “Blessing from the Goddess” Ancient Relic as follows:

  > (Before) AP, DP +100 for 3 minutes → (Now) AP +50, DP +100 for 3 minutes

| Dark Fog

- Changed the damage from Dark Fog as follows:

Before

Now

Basic damage from the Fog:  -350 every 1 secDP reduction -50% for 5 sec

Additional damage after 10 sec: -1000 every 2 sec

Additional damage after 30 sec: -2000 every 2 sec

Basic damage from the Fog: -350 every 1 sec + DP reduction -50% for 5 secRecovery reduction -40%

Additional damage after 10 sec: -500 every 2 sec

Additional damage after 30 sec: -1000 every 2 sec

[Dev Note]

We set damage inflicted by Dark Fog to be very high to limit survival outside the Fog by recovering HP. However, since we’ve added the Bleeding debuff recently, we added it to the Fog and decreased the Fog’s damage, so players could go into the Fog for short amounts of time.

| Stoneback Crab

- Increased the attack speed of Stoneback crabs by approximately 12.5%.

- Changed Stoneback Crabs to only take 50% damage during their special attack animations.

- Increased the HP of Steppe Stoneback crabs by 25%.

- Changed the effect inflicted by a Steppe Stoneback Crab’s special attack as follows:

> Before: Bleeding effect for 5 seconds

> Now: Bleeding effect for 10 seconds

- Changed the effect inflicted by a Steppe Stoneback Crab’s special attack as follows:

> (Before) DP reduction -50% for 5 sec → (Now) DP reduction -50% for 10 sec

- Changed the buff effect obtained by defeating Stoneback Crabs as follows.

Stoneback Crab

(Buff)

Before

Now

Mountain Stoneback Crab

(Stoneback Crab’s Shell)

DP +60

DP +60, Reduce Damage from Monsters +5%

Steppe Stoneback Crab

(Stoneback Crab’s Claw)

AP +30

AP +30, Counter Attack Damage +15%

- A notification message will now appear to all players in the match if someone defeats a Stoneback Crab.

[Dev Note]

The Stoneback Crab has taken a spot as an important objective that has weaker buffs but is still safer to fight than the Shadow Lords. However, the AP or DP buffs felt insignificant, so we’ve added additional special effects like monster damage reduction and counter attack damage buff to open up the possibilities of other strategies.

| Monster

- Increased the attack speed of Shadow Knight Captain and Shaman by approxmiately 15%.

- Increased the HP of Shadow Knight Captain and Shaman by 50%.

- Changed the DP of Shadow Knight Captain and Shaman from 0 to 100.

- Changed the Shadow Knight Captain and Shaman to no longer move while being on its default standby.

- Doubled the movement speed of the Shadow Knight Captain and Shaman.

- Changed to Shadow Knight Captain and Shaman occasionally use special attacks.

  > Shadow Knight Captain: Charges energy and plunges its sword onto the ground to blowback nearby enemies for 1 sec.

  > Shadow Shaman: Charges energy and unleashes a bolt of lightning to stun nearby enemies for 1.5 seconds.

  > They will only take 50% damage during their special attacks.

- Increased the number of bonus tokens obtainable from defeating Shadow Knight Captains or Shadow Shamans from 4 to 8.

[Dev Note]

Players were forced to make the same decision of having to defeat the “Troll Army” 1 minute into the match to grow stronger effectively. To address this, we increased the advantages and difficulty of defeating Shadow Knight Captains and Shadow Shamans, which were ignored until now. We hope Shadow Knights will be seen as an objective that gives more advantages than the Troll Army in the early stages of a match but is still hard to defeat and even holds some risks.
